Ireland Remains on Flood Alert Wednesday, 25th November 2009
Flooding continues to cause havoc in the West, South West amd Midlands of Ireland today as the rain continues to fall. Thousands of homes and businesses have had to be evacuated now and there appears to be no let up in the weather, todays forecast from Met Eireann is :
"Very windy or stormy this morning with southwest winds gusting 100 to 120 km/hr in exposed places. The winds will ease somewhat in the late morning or early afternoon. Heavy showers or longer spells of rain also, with a risk of thunder."
