Ireland West Tourism is the official Regional Tourism Authority for Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. The organisation is the principal contact for all individuals, organisations and authorities involved in tourism at local and regional level.



Our Mission

The mission and objectives of Ireland West Tourism are consistent with Bord Failte – Irish Tourist Board policy, as follows:



· To achieve the regional targets for tourism growth in line with the national objectives for increased visitor numbers, foreign revenue and new job creation

· To carry out activities devolved by Bord Failte in the areas of visitor services, product development and marketing

· To organise the tourism industry in the region in order to facilitate and co-ordinate marketing and development activity

To make an efficient input into policy formulation at national level
